New EBI eBook
“Fintech Regulation and the Licensing Principle” (2-2023)
The book is the by-product of an International Conference held in partnership with EBIand CIDP – Centro de Investigação de Direito Privado at the University of Lisbon in mid-2022. It discusses some of the legal challenges related to the application of FinTech technology in the provision of financial services, as well as the interplay with the licensing principle as applicable to the traditional financial service providers. It is current, thorough and sheds light to the legal framework applicable to Crypto providers.
Academics linked to EBI actively contributed to several Panels of the referred CIDP conference, the output of which is now made available to a wider public through this publication as an EBI e-Book.
