Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming global financial markets, reshaping everything from trading, credit scoring, and risk management to compliance and supervision. The growing use of AI raises profound legal and regulatory questions concerning market integrity, accountability, governance, financial stability, and consumer protection. Bringing together leading scholars, regulators, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world, this conference will explore how legal systems can respond to these developments in a coherent, innovative, and internationally coordinated manner.

Hosted by the Hamburg Network for AI & Law (NAIL) on 2–3 July 2026 in Hamburg, Germany, the conference will provide a forum for interdisciplinary debate on the future of AI-driven financial regulation in Europe and beyond.

This is an in-person event with the possibility of joining online, so please choose between virtual and physical participation. Deadline: 26 June 2026. Attendance is free of charge.
